Emmanuel Jelsch is the founder and CEO of IP2Go-Pro, a Swiss boutique IP consultancy based in Lausanne-Renens (Vaud), providing tailored patent solutions for startups, SMEs, and research institutions. He represents clients before the EPO, the Swiss Patent Office and the Swiss Federal Patent Court on technical patent matters, collaborating with legal teams on complex cases. He works in close collaboration with KIPA, combining forces to deliver seamless cross-border IP strategies for clients in life sciences, MedTech, and biotechnology.
A seasoned European and Swiss Patent Attorney, Emmanuel specializes in patent drafting, global prosecution, and contentious matters (oppositions, litigation). His expertise spans pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and chemistry, backed by 25+ years of experience at Debiopharm, Bracco, Katzarov SA, and AWA. Notably, he served as a Technical Judge at the Swiss Federal Patent Court (2011–2017) and is a WIPO-accredited expert, training patent professionals worldwide.
An educator at heart, Emmanuel has taught IP law at EPFL and the University of Sfax and mentored startups through Innosuisse. Since 2015, he has been a Lead Trainer for Morocco’s CAPI program (organized by OMPIC, INPI France, WIPO, and OAPI), where he teaches technology transfer and patent drafting to future IP professionals from North and West Africa.
He holds advanced degrees in Biochemistry and Plant Physiology (University of Strasbourg), a postgraduate diploma in Pharmacotoxicology (University of Paris), and CEIPI qualifications in European Patent Law and Litigation. Fluent in English and French, with good knowledge of German, he bridges technical innovation with strategic IP protection.
