Occlutech GmbH received a favorable court ruling from Stockholm, Sweden in on-going patent litigation with AGA Medical/St. Jude Medical. The district court of Stockholm, rejected AGA’s claim that Occlutech’s ASD and PFO occluders infringe one of their patents. The decision is in line with a similar decision in the first instance ruling in the UK, which was confirmed on appeal in mid 2010. The UK ruling is final. The favourable decision is also similar to the first instance and appeals court decisions in The Hague in the end of 2010.
